After taking a couple of years off from breeding & showing we are now awaiting another colorful crop of foals in the spring of 2008.
Pictured above is Romars Sunray (1977 AQHA-PHBA Palomino) who, at 31 years old, is the matriarch of the band of merry mares. Her daughters are A Skip Ana Star aka "Skipper" (1996 AQHA Sorrel), Dona Casanova aka "YoYo" (1992 AQHA Brown) and Bailarina de Espana aka "Dancer" (1991 AQHA Buckskin)
Sunray is an own daughter of Skipador (by Skipper W) and is out of a grand-daughter of Royal King. She is still going strong after producing eleven (11) foals, a brief fun-show career at age 20, and serving as a youth lesson horse. She continues to charm all who know her and is the maternal grand-dam of our APHA Palomino Overo stallion, Rocks Baldy (shown above right).
